As a lesbian from a blue collar family but has two advanced degrees in a white collar job (but at heart is a small town, get my hands dirty type of girl), hell yes. My life took a weird path and I’m in a working world (tech) where I don’t feel accepted because of how I grew up or how my family made a living and because of that I stick up every chance I get for the people who are the backbone of our country. Trust me when I say that big tech corporations hate blue collar people. It makes me sad.
