Or because we just wanted sex but her body count is astronomical and we sense she wants a relationship. We don't care how much you lot shame us about caring about your number. We still do. Get over it. It's our instincts. As long as we aren't vocally slut shaming, we're good. It's our prerogative whether we want to commit to someone, and that will always be the case. Men control access to relationship, not women. Women control access to sex. You can't force a man to commit to you. Not a strong, intelligent not-desperate-for-WAP man.

It being about 'insecurity' seems like wishful/defensive thinking on your part.
