I would rather be addicted to opiates than be in constant pain.

First of all, emotional pain is for pussies. Emotional pain can be understood by everyone, and you can really find many many solutions. Like time for example.

Second, tramadol does have a extreme dependence on your body, and eventually you will have to take more. Most of us on this sub started on tram. And last, if your pain is bad enough where your choice is no longer a choice, then you know what most of us chronics are talking about. My biggest most triggered issue with other humans, is when they say that they have pain to, but they CHOOSE to not take opioids. I DONT HAVE A CHOICE. And I would do anything to be back in the land of tramadol. Truth is, I used to feel exactly how you do. And I really believe no matter what any of us say, your mind will never be changed. Pain is the only way a person can even remotely understand, pain without end. Physical pain.
