Would a "Starfleet Academy" show actually work?

S1e1: its the first dsy of spring exams when the entire csmpus shuts down to mourn the loss of an Acadeny Staple, the groundskeeper. Boothby. We begin with a forlourn group of first yesr cadets attending thr memorial, in which Captain Jean Luc Picards eulogy brings even the tear-duct free klingon attache to tears,. We frame on six cadets, a human male and female sibling pair, a stoic vulcan female T'pilirran, an el-aurien male, a xindi arboreal, and far in the back, a betazoid no-one has gotten to know well. These are out main characters. T'pillirran causes peturbation at her analytical and cold analysis that boothby was unremarkable, until Picard has a brief heart to heart, meanwhile our betazoid friends nightmares become more graphic and disturbing every night.

S1e2: human siblings joe and jane are engaged in fierce sibling rivalry to land a spot rumored to be opening in the reformed Red Squad, when during flight training joe injures jane so severely her whole careee is put in jeopardy. Succotach the xindi is eventually chosen for Red Squad, and the episide ends ekth the doors whisking shut as he is briefed on an upcoming special mission.

S1e3: Pon farr for T'pillirran and she must rerurn home. Janes recovery has "voyager'ed' and appears completely healed in the blink of an eye. A bajoran pair is spotted tailing our betazoid, until the el-aurian intervenes. A strsngr friendship begins but why follow him? The el aurian seeks the advice of his au Aunt guinan
