[WP] - Years ago, a law was passed stating that any book that does not meet a minimum number of sales must be recalled and destroyed. Ownership of a recalled book is punishable by death. As the owner of a house full of these illegal books, you find out the terrifying reason the law was passed.

Agent Collins jumped in as soon as he had thrown me in. "Drive." He simply stated, as he closed the doors to the back. As the van sped off, I was thrown back, almost hitting my head on the closed metal doors. After only a few seconds, He sat down and sighed in relief. "Well, now that the show's over, thanks for your cooperation, Adam. Your neighbors will never suspect a thing."

I groaned as I sat up. "That hurt." I weakly responded.

"Grow a pair. We'll be in for worse if you don't do what we ask."

I looked up weakly. "Worse?"

He nodded as he pulled out a smartphone, and started typing away. "Worse. The books you've been buying are linked to a terrorist cell. We don't know who they are, we don't know where they are, and we haven't cracked the code or anything about it. So far, the only trend we've picked up is pen names, One time stories, and the books are longer than 350 pages. Books that you've been buying in the trend, and failing to destroy under the Forbidden Literature Act."

"Was that law passed just to fight this group?"

Agent Collins shook his head, and kept typing on his phone. "No, there were others. We discovered the link between books and terrorists planning events not long ago. Most of the time, we've busted the cells by other means, but we've got nothing on these guys." He looked up from his phone. "That's why we're talking with you."

I pulled myself onto a bench, rubbing my head. I made a note to ask for an ice pack when we got where we were going. "I don't know anything about this." I replied weakly.

"Adam, don't play dumb with us. You knew there was something off about the books you've bought. Over thirty trips to that store in the mall, and the only books you bought were these ones that we've put on our list. Either you have a big disregard for a law that is rarely enforced, or you've realized that something is off about the books."

I sighed. He did have a point, kind of. I was trying to figure out what was so odd about the books, but only because the law absolutely baffled me. I was studying the books to find out why the law was in place, to be honest. I had a feeling though, that if I tried to convince him of that, I'd get shot. "So, what do you want from me?"

He shook his head. "Not here. You'll tell us everything soon enough, but we want it on tape. Remember, you are still in violation of a law, and we want everything you say in case you've been screwing us."
