Writers of Reddit: what do you write, for who, and why?

I've written a lot, but in the past have made a living partially as a copywriter (it's hard to pay the bills with just my salary from a nonprofit).

Most recently, I've written on-demand erotic fiction. I started out writing a few steamy fanfics on ao3, folks liked them, then asked me for custom stuff. Apparently if you are willing to write some rarepair fanfic or stuff that's similar, the money is there. I've had some health issues lately so I haven't been doing it, but I'm thinking about going back to it. I also have a friend who is an illustrator who does furry erotica (nothing explicit, just PG-13) under a pen-name and makes a fortune.
