I think the entire point of this promo has gone over most people's heads because they just see that it's racist and immediately need to start posting on here to soak up some karma about how they hated how racist it was.

The promo really wasn't about Jinder being racist at all, it was about the fans being racist. They talk behind Jinder's back (calling him a roid abuser, terrorist, etc) the same way they'll make fun of Shinsuke behind his back when he's in the spotlight (using stereotypical asian racist tropes, making fun of how he talks, etc). Jinder was highlighting that Shinsuke shouldn't want to become champion because of the pressure that comes with being champion in the USA, and that will crush Shinsuke because he is isn't mentally ready for all the criticism. And it's hard to argue that there hasn't been a more criticized champion in the last decade than Jinder Mahal (rightfully so or otherwise), so he isn't speaking from a point of ignorance, he's speaking from experience. In his mind he's trying to "help" Shinsuke, by warning him now that the prize he seeks may not be worth the backlash he will face. I don't think he's entirely wrong either. Some of the fans that are racist towards Jinder will also be racist towards Shinsuke, even though he is a crowd favourite.

Overall the execution of this promo probably wasn't ideal and the message didn't come off as clear, but I don't think it was particularly bad and I don't think Jinder came off as a racist. (maybe the people that wrote it did though, idk)
