"What if you're wrong?" All decisions have tradeoffs. How much have they considered the negative consequences of their choices? The pro-life vs pro-choice debate wouldn't be so heated if both sides didn't have merit.

"Please tell us what the other political party believes in a way that they would agree with." So often both parties try and make out the otherside as the boogeyman to drum up support. "Republicans want to build a wall because they're racist!" "Democrats want universal healthcare because they're socialists that don't value work!" Both are generalized, fallacious ad homonyms. Better answer might be "The other side believes in building a wall/universal healthcare because they're afraid of getting hurt physically and economically." Ok now we can start having a conversation.
