Nice beaches north of milwaukee?

It might be hard to find beaches given the high water levels. With that being said, there is an area between klodie park (Oakland and lake drive) and the water filtration plant that has great beaches. There are 2 access points. North: go down to klodie beach and walk south. You'll have to do some walking on rocks to get started but you'll be fine. The other spot is the Shorewood nature preserve just north of the Shorewood Milwaukee boarder. You can head north toward klodie or travel south. Going south will require climbing a lot of rocks but you will end up at ba Beach an old Milwaukee land mark. The is plenty to explore and some really cool structures from the early 1900s (the convent garden is especially cool). Back in HS we used to party at these beaches and camp there too. Great memories from a long time ago.
