[Yahoo] Michael Jordan incorrectly thinks Kobe Bryant is better than LeBron James

This is a strawman argument.

Use your common sense for a minute and think if anybody would argue that Horry is better than Jordan because he has more championships. There are more obvious arguments, like the massive difference in skill, talent, achievements, stats, etc. between MJ and Horry that the rings argument isn't even needed.

But when you're comparing two players who have nearly identical roles on their teams (I.E being the best player on offense and defense, taking the most shots, making the most plays, playing the most minutes) then it's a fair argument unless there is a drastic difference in the level of talent that they play with, which in the case of LeBron and Kobe, I'm not sure there is.

Kobe won three championships with Shaq, but the stats prove that he wasn't carried and in some series was the best player.

He won two more championships with a supporting cast weaker than any of the three championship rosters LeBron was on, IMO. As let's not forget, LeBron himself has two of his championships playing alongside an MVP candidate and a perennial all-star, and then another one with two players who average 20+ PTS/G every season and likely would've also been all-stars had they not been injured.

For the record I would take LeBron over Kobe, but to think that it's absurd to think otherwise is just annoying and typical of the way this sub bows down to LeBron as if he's this godly, invincible force that can't be beat when the facts really say otherwise.
