Yes, I'm in Bronze. No, I don't deserve hate in Arcade and QP.

I've gotta be honest. As a guy whose only experience with FPSs came from Splatoon, but still ranked gold the first time he played Overwatch, how do people end up in Bronze, especially sub-1000, especially if you're tech-savvy enough to know about and use Reddit?

It's as if I had to send in a piece of sample work to show my skill for an art class, and I turned in a stick figure, and that my work demonstrated more skill than 40% of other people who applied.

I can see how it could be mean to say that everyone below me didn't try; maybe I take for granted how non-squiggly and in-proportion my stick figures are, and maybe I was clever to start with something simple that I could visualize. But a stick figure makes me better than 40%? Surely it wouldn't be unreasonable to say the bottom 25% didn't submit anything or didn't try just to communicate to the teacher that they are true beginners, right?

But if I say that the bottom 25% of Overwatchers aren't even trying to win, that's just ridiculous and mean. Not everyone is as naturally talented as me, the guy who played Mercy and tried to take as much damage as possible because one of the end cards Mercy could get was "XX% of team damage taken" for dozens of games before realizing what that card actually meant.
