Ow2 needs faster ballancing

I just want to preface that I have no problem with diversity/inclusion heroes in the game, I support them and love that they're adding them to the game.

I'm mainly talking from a business/corporate perspective, which is what Blizzard is focusing on with OW2 because lets be honest, they only care about beating last quarters profits, hence their push for people buying high priced skins and lackluster BP rather than quick balancing/bug fixes.

The reason I say they won't nerf sojourn (at least for a long while) is because she's the new, fun (because she's overtuned) OW2 hero who also happens to be the first black female hero in the game. Blizzard has a financial/PR incentive to keep her strong because the large DPS playerbase will play her, enjoy her because she is in tuitive to play and gets lots of easy value, and subsequently buy her $20+ skin bundles, plus the potential PR/game sentiment damage of giving her strong nerfs so soon after her release, mainly from shitty journalists.

Doom on the other hand is a OW1 hero and was released in 2017. He's practically old guard/a base hero now, plus he's a tank, while most people will gravitate towards DPS. He's also not the most intutive to play whereas Sojourn is just the funny haha poke from range then do the funny headshot hitscan instant kill and if you get shot at just cod slide away because it's only on a 7 second cooldown.

Like I said earlier, I love that Blizzard wants to increase diversity of the cast for OW and I support their efforts, but the cynical side of me also sees that this is likely more because it makes them more money rather than it being the right thing to do, if that makes sense.
