I'm far from ignorant. I've got maybe another 10 productive years before the US economic machine spits me out. I'm a dinosaur and I know it. I worry deeply about my boy, and derivatively on some level, you. The future ain't me, it's him. The future, as I see it, is of hapas being called "white" as the media did with Holtzclaw and Zimmerman whenever they do something wrong. The future, as I see it, is of identity politics defining hapas as "white" because a significant reason for the identity politics industry to operate is to split the spoils of government redistribution, via school admissions, set asides in government contracting, government jobs, etc. The private economy in the US is on life support and so mastering rent seeking from the government is critical. You do that by claiming some sort of victim status and you can see the victim Olympics in full swing at American colleges and universities, as students try to one up each other on the oppression ladder.

You know who gets f@cked by the victim Olympics? Asians and hapas. "Oh, you got a good score on your SAT? Well, it couldn't have been because you were smart and studied hard, and even if you did, you add no diversity because your hobbies are probably piano lessons, studying and math." The seeds for Asians to be "white" are already being sewn and the "Asians are a monolith" theme of racial prejudice that I'm sure you've heard of is just a derivative of "white privilege."

I simply hope that you people ask questions and think critically, rather than painting everyone with the same broad brush you hate being painted with. Those klan guys are deplorable, but they have a right to assemble and speak without getting pummeled.
