i’m not above anything, i sometimes do the bare minimum cause that’s what i’m getting paid to do. i’ve been pretty not happy at my job/the way we’re all just working hard so some people can get filthy rich and i hate that i’m in a situation where i have to work at a job like this and support that. i’m not gonna go above and beyond for a job that in reality doesn’t really care that much about me. my store has a lot of larger issues, i was never even trained to make refreshers, i read the recipe cards and figured it out and i do know what the standard is for nearly all the drinks but sometimes i take a short cut when i’m alone on bar during a rush because no one is gonna notice and there’s too much shit going on to care about it. i don’t know why some people are so like brainwashed by starbucks and care SO MUCH about shaking drinks, but nothing is about actual customer connections anymore. as long as your store is making enough money they don’t really care about much else.
