I work with a barista who has rated her bar skills as advising in all categories, while not advising anyone and making a lot of beverages incorrectly.

She constantly complains loudly when she’s put anywhere other than bar, but then when she’s put on bar, she does not do well, constantly wanders off without telling anyone, and is just overall very annoying. The other day I had to coach her because she was the only one on cold bar, in the middle of peak, and she just walked away to answer the store phone. I literally just said “hey next time, if you’re on bar during peak do not answer the phone.”

Then she started telling everyone I snapped at her. Like… girl. Stop.

Obviously being in the role I’m in, I can’t say how I feel to anyone on my team. But I have started telling my keyholders not to let her argue her way onto bar everyday.
