the "wage cap" is such a bs way to not give us our full raise

No, the 20.24 would be if I was paid correctly for previous raises. The last one I got was less than 2% when everyone else got 5% my manager claimed that perhaps I got a raise that I wasn't supposed to when I transfered from a different region but that isn't true based on previous pay discussions I'd had with the first store I transferred to in this city. He said he was paying me basically what every other barista starts at at his store. I was moved around a lot and transferred from a completely different region in the US so I think it's allowed for a lot of confusion surrounding pay. I am upset according to my knowledge and math but I really just want to be walked through what might have happened and/or why. Do you think it's something HR could discuss or is it maybe a district manager thing?
