Zac Rinaldo offered in-person hearing for sucker punch on Colorado's Sam Girard

FWIW, I think Biz is looking at this as Rinaldo may have in the moment, which is how things would have happened during their heydays in the late-00's/early-10's. Back then, if you layed a clean hit, chances are that the first guy grabbing you was going to have his gloves off and be swinging at you. It would be instinct to be swinging at them as soon as they grab your jersey.

Obviously times are different now and guys like Rinaldo and Biz still need to grapple with the changes. Today it's a big deal just to have 6 of 10 guys on the ice shoving each other after the whistle, let alone having fights. It reminds me a lot of how Milbury's analyses always some weird mix of shit he still thinks is relevant from the 70's and some of the more modern coaching philosophies of the late-10's.

Sometimes the problem with commentary from former players coaches, and GM's is that it gets outdated and out of touch with the current game. I think that's the case with Biz. He's just expressing a perspective that's out of date now.
