You can point to one part of the Quran that says what you want others to see about the religion, but almost every Muslim out there doesn't practice that idealistic version from the brochures. You're not going to be able to spin the way I know for a fact Muslims treat women. I've seen it with my own eyes. As long as she's subservient, there's no problem. But, if she tries to think for herself or be independent in any way, the real teachings come out.
You say that all the bad sides of Islam is America's doing? How? Almost all of the citizens take place in this shit. It takes more than one person to stone someone and it happens in basically every nation in the region. Is this the CIA? Is the CIA issuing public lashings in every nation for going against the Qurans teachings? The people practice this hateful brand everywhere. If they don't practice it they support it.
If it were just the leaders the people would reject this shit. But, they embrace it and practice it. They spread it and take it wherever they travel. I know there are moderates, but deep down the moderates support the radicals.
The religion I believe in historically predates Islam. Jesus Christ said more than 700 years prior to Muhammad, that if any should come after Him, claiming to have additional messages from God that it was Satan and deception. Well, 700 years later, Muhammad was visited by an "angel of light" claiming to have new messages of the God of Abraham. The historical record backs this up. So from my side of the fence, for religious reasons, Islam is quite literally evil in my opinion.
There's way more than one reason I don't want to be around Islam. In light of this, I do NOT wish harm on any Muslim. I do not have hatred for the humanity. If I hated the people, I'd wish them death. I do not hate the people. I love people. I hate Islamic teaching. I do not want anyone who practices or loves or is devoutly devoted to Islam to be harmed. I just would like Islam separated for the good of human life. There is no changing my mind. There is no changing your mind. I don't even want to try.
