SOHR also reported that Deir al-Asafir and Zebdeen were captured, but their site is down for some reason.

The sources are there for your consideration, but please feel free to discard them in favor of the sources you like better!

Please, I'm not discarding any sources here. What I have an issue with is the fact that the source you are basing your report on (and which you are presenting as fact) is in direct contradiction with a numerous amounts of other sources, many of whom are extremely pro-rebel (Step News Agency, Orient News).

And El Dorar, the Omran Center for Strategic Studies and Al Rahman Corps (a group on the ground) aren't "fringe" sources—they are well established and reliable ones that are simply something you (apparently) don't want to be true as indicated by your choice of rhetoric.

Omran Center for Strategic Studies map doesn't even corroborate your claim that Deir al-Asafir and Zebdeen weren't captured by the regime, it shows them as taken. The al-Rahman corps twitter page is also not claiming that they recaptured Deir al-Asafir or Zebdeen. I don't have an issue with the part of the report claiming rebel gains around the area, or that the salient was completely seized. What I do take issue with is you using a single source (debatable whether or not it is fringe, certainly small) to claim that Zebdeen and Deir al-Asafir weren't taken, when there is a huge amount of reporting stating otherwise.
