I [20F] had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and my boyfriend [31M] has been angry at me since

Anecdotal, but when I was in school many years ago, there was a couple who lived up the street from us. The wife has a miscarriage and the husband had an absolute nervous breakdown because of it in the worst way possible. After the miscarriage, they had another child together (successfully) and then something completely unrelated set him off and he freaked out and basically gruesomely murdered her. The point is - not much is ever considered about this, but between this insane story and some of the things I am reading in this thread, I guess miscarriages can potentially take a mental toll on the father as well. It doesn't have to necessarily mean that the guy was "just an asshole" before the event with some kind of agenda, things can change from that trauma for both people in the relationship. I am curious if there have ever been any studies done about this.
