I (22/f) spilt a drink on his (23/m) laptop

I'm trying to visualize this and I can't seem to understand. That is quite odd, isn't it? Because every time I've ever had such a blunder, it was always because I was trying to balance a glass of wine on my bed while watching planet earth or something. Ah okay, well, I'd let him cool down for a bit. By tomorrow he'll probably have a clearer mind. Things like this happen, it's a reason why some people don't allow food or drinks in the bedroom or in the living room (always thought it was nonsense, but I think in situations like this I understand). I know you feel guilty, but like I said, it happens. If his phone fell out of his hand because you, by accident, bumped into him and it smashed into pieces-- yeah ,you'd feel bad, but there's really nothing to do about it except offer to pay (which you did) and move on. I'm sure they have ways to get into his hard drive and save all the files that he had on it (although I will leave this to a computer techie).
