I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that, my wife a number of years ago came home really distraught and said she was interested in sleeping with other people. Which I was fine with initially, however it turned out it wasn't just a general statement she was basically having an emotional affair with somebody at work and he was really pressuring her to sleep with him. I only found this out because I started digging and started to basically pull half truth after half truth out of her. The lack of transparency and endless dishonesty made it a really hard road to recovery for us because trust is so unconditionally important in a relationship. You made the right call even though I'm sure it was a difficult one.
