Oh Epic should be, they sold “Fortnite gift cards” my MIL got almost $300 worth for my nephew to cover the year of gifts for him (birthday, Christmas, Easter) and when we went to use them you’ll never believe it but they “were no longer partnered with or participating in that program”. I’ve called and emailed probably 60 times since Christmas trying to get the poor kids V Bucks because he thought he used them wrong or was messing up somehow. Nope, apparently between Christmas 21 and Christmas 22 they had cancelled that gift card program thing and were no longer honoring the money people had spent. Every time I see those stupid cards I get unreasonably mad for the sweet 10yr old who saved them all year to get specific skins and when he tried to finally cash in to get his Sasuke skin he was met with “sorry not sorry we stole your money”.
