You're going to be disappointed when you finally get one.

Force Sword is a bad weapon. It has a lousy attack pattern. The charged attack lasts one swing, builds peril and locks you into a long pause. Blocking with it blinds you. It also reduces your passive peril quell.

Deflector does give you one great capability, blocking ranged attacks. That's super-handy when you don't have a veteran (or the vet isn't doing their job), and you're caught in the open by a pack of gunners. It's also nice for clutch rezzes.

But the basic function of a melee weapon is to kill things. The force sword is vastly inferior to a good Antax MK V, Dueling Sword or even Combat Knife for that.
