S4 is not well written. It is a really bland cliche story that Only survives on Clem and S1 nostalgia. Just the premise that a group of kids has survived for 8 years with as little experiences as they had is really stupid. And we dont even need to start with how unrealistic AJ is.

Just because meany people in the fandom like it does not mean it is good. I really liked S4 at the start but I see froue the nostalgia baiting and see how bad the story really is without Clem.

so ignoring the positive reception that games story got but not ignoring season 3’s is kind of telling of where your narrative is.

I dont think you understand, the S3 story is descent without Clem, and has a relly bad fan reaction. So it is carrid by Clem in the seance of a continuation of S2 and what the fans expected.

S4 on the other hand is carried by the complete opposite reason, it is well reseved because of Clem, even doe the story is really bland.
