In the same situation with a constant talking partner. We are going on 3 yrs and I couldn’t imagine 4x as much.

I, too, struggle with how to handle this and have had many fights over it. Big difference, my partner is bi-polar so not sure if that could be the cause.

First time I’m on reddit and see a post where OP is in my EXACT situation.

We had a ‘couples’ date last night with one of his friends and their partner. He talked the entire time. I think he monopolized 80% of the conversation and only bc the girlfriend of the other pair was also a talker.

He will be starting therapy soon for his bi-polar and I hope to god it fixes some of this bc I too am at the end of my rope.
