I had problems like this in the past. It was because i grew up in a home where my mother and siblings routinely made fun of me. They made sure that I felt inferior to skinnier kids and that I wouldn't forget how unpleasant I was to look at. They often withheld food. (Which is all kind of crazy. I was MAYBE 10 lbs over weight most my life...nothing unbelievable) My mom was most certainly my first bully. I still cry hysterically when i have to shop for new clothes, because of how terrible it was going through that experience as a kid.

yeahhh, she probably has a past with some form of abuse. she really should consider talking to someone about it.
