AIB card and plans to go high on OC?

AIB cards can still have reference PCB designs, most of the lower end 1070tis are guaranteed to have such and thus have decreased ability to overclock/push a stable high OC.

Still choosing the lower number is the definition of cherry picking facts in my opinion.

I can say the same about you to be honest, who knows, you could've picked the most power hungry 1070ti. What if we just meet in the middle, average it out, 220W power consumption.

The CPU comment was, supposed to be about normal desktop CPU's. An extreme edition priced at $1800 USD wasn't in my scope.

Still didn't address encoding boxes, which can be easily acquired for very cheap, especially if you buy used office/educational optiplexes and such.
