AARP: "New Senate Health Care Bill Could Cut $37.4 Billion from Colorado Medicaid by 2036"

I work for a non profit that supports individuals on Medicaid waivers and finding them the right services for their needs. This ensures the individuals safety and health. I work for families that have moved to Colorado due to other states not offering what Colorado can. Put this in perspective:

I serve close to 40 children and adults on these waivers. Company I work for has close to 125-135 employees in a similar position as me that are serving close to the same amount or more people. We enroll people onto Medicaid waivers on a daily basis and continue to hire new employees. You wouldn't believe how many people are still waiting to get enrolled. Now, there are 22 companies like mine all in Colorado that provide the same type of services to individuals with disabilities and their families. I have families ask my weekly if their loved one benefits are in the crosshairs.

It's pretty disheartening that the Feds open the expansion than slowly pull back. With that being said, Colorado's policy with all Medicaid waivers are reviewing at then end of the fiscal year of June 2019 and renewed then. There's always a review that tax payers money is being utilized correcting ( example: Rocky Mountain Human Services) and to individuals with disabilities. Google it, it's pretty ridiculous.
