The Referred Question 2O situation

A NIMBY wouldn’t be arguing to use the land for high density development though

NIMBYs will literally argue any point except the truth. This person is doing it all over the thread. It’s why you see NIMBYs say dumb things like “I’m not against affordable housing but I’m against THIS affordable housing because of aesthetics.” They look for any reason to be against development. No concessions will ever be good enough. The only thing they want is no housing. And they’ll argue any intellectually dishonest point to achieve it. That’s a NIMBY.

Why are y’all so desperate to make 350 houses for rich people when you and the city gains literally nothing from that deal?

The city gains affordable housing, increased housing supply, more housing closer to transit, a large park, a supermarket amongst many other benefits.
