Accountant unable to get paid employment in almost 2 years, advice appreciated

3 bullets is hard but that's because we always want to show off the great stuff we did in each job. The trouble is, the person reviewing a resume doesn't care -- they are only looking for skills and experiences that are directly transferrable to the new position.

It might help to approach the bullets by deciding for each job which top three skills you want to show off. Then build the bullet point around showing that you have (1) applied that skill in a real world setting, (2) you did so independently, and (3) you were successful in doing so.

Of course, others may disagree about limiting the bullet points but I think cutting text forces you to be more deliberate and clear (which should be "here's what I can do for you").
