Agents point to a glut of townhouses in Adelaide’s northeast

Reality is.. that you could have bought the home and spent at 150k on upgrades and it still would be an old small home on a big block . Trust me, I’ve been in that home, it needed work. There is a majority market out there wanting new homes with decent size rooms and low maintenance land. The facts are that they are selling, hence developers will continue to risk their money to build them. Times are a changing. It’s also interesting that owners with big blocks aren’t commenting on the rapid growth they are seeing on their land value. No complaints when you sell. I own a few old homes with big blocks and when I decide to sell.. I’ll be laughing all the way to the bank. Bring on the change!
