Please allow me to weigh in as a current goer. Fundamentally, I believe that the churchgoers make up the church (ie ‘we’ are the church). The organisation, ‘Influencers’ as it is known, is merely a shell with which it is presented to society. Personally, I know a good number of kind, decent, ‘godly’ people who will help guide you in the correct direction; be it finding your faith, navigating tough times, or getting the help you need. Having said that, with any large denomination, there will be good & bad people. I’ve met my fair share of those. As such, it’s very difficult to put a general comment to this church whilst keeping it 100% objective & fair. Overall though, I still go whenever I can: for the community, connection & the mutual support in faith (or even life in general). Lastly, I personally have never felt compelled to give/donate, rarely do so myself, and still feel welcomed nonetheless.
