AITA for being mad at my mom for taking my money away and making me feel more left out than I already was?

What youre given should be yours I completely agree.

Now I can’t say that this is your situation, but sometimes people give in order to receive back. And sometimes the receiving back part is a big TBD (to be decided). Basically it’s yours until they need something from you.

There are also times where boundaries are not clear for people, especially between family. Like my uncle who thinks “what’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours” except my uncle is a deadbeat con artist that is always running out of money.

So at least from my almost scraping the middle class upbringing. Money given to you always has strings attached. It’s a loan that will need to be repaid at a later time.
