AITA for canceling a girls appointment the day of her baby shower

YOU NEED TO MAKE A POST ASAP TO CORRECT THE MISCONCEPTION THAT PEOPLE CAN SHOW UP 2 HOURS LATE AND EXPECT YOU TO DROP THE CLIENT YOU ARE ALREADY WORKING ON.

NTA of course but honey, you need to act quickly.

"I am a professional that provides professional services. When clients make appointments at a certain time I expect that time to be respected. I give a 30 minute grace period before a session is cancelled which is more liberal than most places.

People can not expect to get serviced after showing up 2 hours late and not answering calls and messages to confirm whether they were or were not going to show up.

I respect my customers and their time. I will not abandon a client mid-braiding to go take care of a customer that's 2 hours late. When I braid your hair you are my priority."
