I was raised in a privileged environment, with a ridiculously liberal school district, we had a yearly week long sex Ed information week starting for 7th grade. “ sex is fun but see stds ( straight up gore pics) giving birth is a nightmare( no pain med natural birth, and csection films) electronic babies that made me hate children, lots of poverty statics. I don’t know anyone that got pregnant in high school most of my class mates didn’t even have kids till way after college. It’s was a very pro choice, don’t ruin your life before it starts mantra at home and at school. We were informed enough about contraception. This abstinence only stuff is a disservice. And fueling thing kind of sad situations, and in some poverty.
