AITA for organizing a sleepover for my daughter on the same exact day as another kids sleepover in her class?

This is why I have my stance. Who knows, these parents could be racist. I think it is far braver to call them up and say “my daughter was told something that was concerning and I’d like to address it with you” than it is to spread this assumption all around to several classrooms full of parents and throw a party at a water park. It just seems so over the top.

It’s difficult to speak out against injustices. I wish the OP had done that! My son (white) played a sport where there was only one black child on the team. If this child was late to a practice, he was made to sit out of the next game. One week, we were running late and fully expected my son to be benched. He wasn’t. Just like OP, my child wasn’t the one being left out because of race. You better believe I had a talk with that coach. I must have looked crazy basically saying my son should have been benched but if it was a rule, it needed to apply to everyone.
