AITA for picking a sport my twin can't play?

Ik I’m a hypocrite cause I never open up to my parents and probably never will but I think you should just straight up tell then that you want to live your own life.

The more you distance yourself from your sister against your parents wishes the more they will take her side and it could ruin your relationship with both of them. I think you really should just let your parents know how shitty you feel about having to live the same life as your sister.

By forcefully separating yourself with no explanation your making your family feel betrayed and while your justified, they don’t understand how you feel so they can’t sympathize with you the way we can.

If you want to continue to have a good relationship with your family you should just tell them because while they’ll obviously be disappointed it’s way worse for you to bottle up these emotions.

( btw I am an idiot so this may be horrible advice but it sounds really profound so it’s probably right)
