AITA for telling my friend he’s childish for ordering kids books?

It's super cool to re-read books you have read as a child. When I was 7 my parents gifted me Seacrow Island from Astrid Lindgren. The book switches in perspective from 7 year old Pelle, 12 year old Niklas and Johan, 19 year old Malin and the father in his early fourties.

The first time I read it I most identified with Pelle. As I read it again and again over the years, I started identifying with the 12 year old. Then, gradually with Malin and I still remember the first time I reread the chapter of her falling in love and really understanding it.

There's a chapter about the father being gripped by fear when Niklas and Johan get into a stupid but ultimately harmless adventure. I've still got that to come.
