AITA for tweezing off my baby’s unibrow?

Yeah I mean I wouldn't do it to my kid, but I did not expect the strong reaction this post got.

When I was a young child I had ears that stuck out really badly. My parents had them surgically pinned back with plastic surgery before I was old enough to consent for be aware of what was happening. I'm glad they did, personally. I was already born with dwarfism (though I ended up "tall" for the generic condition at a whopping 4'10"). It was rough enough growing up. I'm glad I didn't have prominent ears that stuck out as well. I'm sure the bullying would have been even worse, and that that is exactly what my parents were afraid of. Though my dear mother to this day won't admit she got me plastic surgery for aesthetic reasons and insists that it was only because I couldn't comfortably wear hats in the cold New England winters.

Reading this thread I'm just like damn if my mom did her own AITA she would be absolutely crucified.
