We’re in a thread commenting about God of War, so most people assume that a generalization such as “I don’t mind it when it MAKES SENSE” is commentary that you’re of the opinion that the changes don’t make sense.

Whether you are, or aren’t isn’t important to my point, that both unexpected character designs do make sense in the context of the mythology. My comment wasn’t directed at you, but it seemed like a natural follow-up.
