Almost 13,000 people refused entry to Canada from U.S. during pandemic | Richmond News

I can wait to see my family because it will keep them safe, but how many people living in Canada have crossed the border to the US and returned to Canada? I get that they have quarantined for 14 days afterwards, but it seems like a case of trusting others actions but their own intentions.

When articles are posted here about the US/CAN border it's always, "I still see American plates!" Then someone mentions they are a Canadian in the US and I see, "come home then!" as if we don't have jobs, homes and vehicles (with American plates) here.

I will not return to Canada until the border is opened, which I hope is not until the threat is completely gone (meaning a vaccination or the numbers dwindle to a completely safe level). I want my family and friends safe.
