Always feeling left out but never putting myself out there

I have an opinion that may violently clash with popular opinion.

Most people are boring as fuck. Those "social" and "active" people end up doing the same thing every day, it's boring. Doing the same thing every weekend. While some people are social, active and have variety in their lives; most don't. Their lives are like the movie groundhog day. Except they are wearing something different and may be in a different place.

I prefer quality over quantity. I don't want my memories and experiences to be a blur. You do the same thing every weekend and eventually it's 1 big hazy blur. They spend years being "social" and "active" and may have 2-3 stories about their years. Because they watered down their experiences. They lack variety.

If someone invited me to a place I've never been and I'm interested in. I'll be ready in 20 minutes or less. Try to convince me that doing the same shit every day is "fun", I'd rather play video games. At least I'll be doing something I like.

Stop being a chapter in someone else's book and be the main character in your own book. Who cares what others want to do. We all make mistakes in life. It's normal and expected. If you tell someone "no" and later realize you should have said "yes". Then accept your mistake and say "yes" next time. It's pointless to dwell on our mistakes. Learn from them, try not to repeat them and move on. .
