As a huge fan of K-pop, I have to say that while BTS was definitely a massive driving force behind the global recognition of K-pop, I don't think they were the only reason for it. Don't get me wrong, BTS has achieved incredible success and has done a lot to push K-pop into the mainstream, but there have been many other amazing K-pop groups that have contributed to the genre's popularity as well. Groups like BLACKPINK, EXO, and TWICE have also gained a huge following around the world, and it's their combined efforts that have helped K-pop become a global phenomenon. Basically, while BTS deserves a lot of credit for their impact on K-pop, they didn't do it all on their own!
