The American Reality

It is the specific usage of a young man in a hoodie on the news footage that brings Martin to mind for me.

Your entire argument is irrelevant because it is very shallow. Saying that the issue of oppression being "taken seriously", as you put it, rests on who has the most politically friendly martyr is counter revolutionary because even if it is implemented, it offers no real change. Just look at Dr. King in the 60's. You're telling people to pick a different dead body to rally behind as if that changes anything in the long run. You're even throwing Mike Brown out in the air for some reason. This isn't a reference to one or two men, it's a reference to a racist oppressive force on blacks in America.

I also never claimed to be a forensic expert, I said that forensics in both cases (as seen through court footage on television) pointe to both young men having attacked their shooters. And I specifically mentioned George Zimmerman in my first post. I never said Martin was shot by an officer.

We all know what has been said about Brown. The thinking this post is trying to invoke is in no way rallying behind Mike Brown for the sake of Mike Brown. It is not tailored to him and Martin. That's all pointless squandering that has helped tunneled the vision of America. You can place any black child in that picture and the message would not change. This is a rally behind the reality that blacks face in a racist America regardless of their conduct.

Go back and read my first comment again, I know it's as long winded as this one, so given your reading comprehension, I recommend taking a long look at it. And it would be Ms. Forensic expert, if I held the title.

I know exactly what you said and it's just as flawed now as it was then.
