As an outsider looking into your relationship, what would you say is the best thing about dating/being with/being married to you? And what would you say is the worst?

The best: I’m meticulously clean and my house is always tidy. I cook well and frequently. I’m always massaging his back, his jaw, his legs, or whatever’s hurting him that day. I handle all the finances, make all the appointments, and support him emotionally through his ptsd. I’m attractive but also his exact type, and I’m much younger than he is. Although our age difference might not be a positive, I guess that depends on who you ask.

The worst: I’m bipolar and very intentionally, decidedly unmedicated. I feel like I’ve got better control over myself now more than ever, but I know it’s still a challenge sometimes. Perhaps that’s why I feel the need to be such an overachiever, so my “episodes” don’t seem like much compared to everything I do otherwise.

Overall I’m a good wife, all of our miserable coworkers always tell him how good my food looks and how lucky he is. Truth is I’m so extremely fortunate to be in love with my such an amazing man who compliments me in every way.
