Yes, had a pretty bad porn addiction. I think it took me about a year to even get close to recovering, I couldn’t even go a few days when I initially tried to quit. Needing more extreme stuff constantly, terrible guilt after watching, etc. Looking back, I think that porn made me view myself as an object and to view other women as that too.

You hear a lot about porn addicted men no longer being aroused by real life women, but I’ve read plenty of stories of women being unable to be aroused by their partners too. Besides the possibility of erectile dysfunction, the side effects of porn consumption are just as bad for women as for men. I hate that pornography is so easily accessible and normalised.
