Has anyone in this community contracted Coronavirus

As much as it bother me to say it, very highly suspect.

I'm typing this out in case others can draw something from it, have similar experiences, plus I've got nothing to do right now and just want to get it out there since it's been on my mind.

It was early March and cycled thru our house, actually think it started with my son (12 years old) who was taking extracurriclular classes on a college campus at the time. The first known/confirmed cases in our area were all from that same university, it's quite an eyebrow raising coincidence.

My son had low fever, some chills, pretty bad sore throat and cough, if he had any other symptoms I don't know because getting information from is difficult - over all he was rundown. He kicked it quick though, IIRC it started late on a Thursday evening and by the following Monday morning it was like nothing happened. This was late February into early March, to the point where we didn't think anything of it, especially how quick he turned around.

My symptoms start the week immediately following his. I had an insane cough that wouldn't go away, headache, sore throat like I've never had before (for real, felt like razors in there), tight chest, a brief period were I felt dizzy and then experience shortness of breathe at random times. The times with the shortness of breathe there was absolutely zero reason for me to be having those type of issues. There was a two day period where I felt extremely fatigued, coming out of that period is when I started to see the symptoms lift which I can only guess was me kicking the damn thing(?).

My wife was similar to what I experience, except she never really had a sore throat. She was fatigued for longer than I was and the chest tightness she was having lasted longer as well, that was actually the most troubling for her because it was the longest lasting symptom of everything she experienced. We kind of overlapped, thing is she had such a light cough for a while, nothing alarming, no other symptoms aside from this lingering, light, cough. Then bang, everything I mentioned came on in a 24 hour period and hung on for the better part of two weeks.

Last Wednesday (4/1), was the first time where I actually felt kinda normal, the only thing I noticed was when I started to get active around the house it would make me start to cough some... but, nowhere near like before though. As of right now I feel completely normal, like 100%.

The entire time my wife and myself were checking out temperature and neither of us came remotely close to having a fever, our readings were exactly where they needed to be. We told ourselves that would be the deciding factor, if we started to run a fever then we would need to seek medical insight/help. Although I'm pretty sure the doctors would've told us to do what we we've been doing anyway - self quarantine, rest and monitor symptoms.

Kind of a wild ride knowing everything that's going on and how people are suffering. I gotta say, aside from the unknown that comes with this something that weight heavily was not being able to see my parents. Early on we were playing it super cautious due to my parents being elderly and having immune system issues. Like even if this pandemic wasn't going on and one of use was just sick... we wouldn't be over there. To this day, we're still not having contact with them, just phone/skype.

We're still on lockdown for another 6 weeks here, if that regulation lifts and my school opens up I have no plans of going back and training any time soon. I'm not quitting, it's just going to take more than some government telling us everything "Sure, everything is fine. Go ahead, proceed as normal, serious...please, go ahead and spend your money".
