Apple blocks Facebook from running its internal iOS apps

Uber employs exactly 0 drivers.

Uber creates software, that is how it makes money. Uber has data-centers that power this application, which is used by the marketplace as a service.

Uber ATG still exists and works on self-driving - not sure where you got that they gave up on it?

Uber rides are already profitable in many areas, and Eats is wildly profitable. Not to mention freight, scooters, and other products that are taking off. Ownership pieces in yandex and didi don't hurt profitability either.

You may hate Uber, and I know its the cool thing to do these days, but you aren't making much sense trying to say they aren't a tech company, or will never be profitable.
