Which survey was this based on? The one where they walked around the street asking random atheists "hey, did the name 'God' come up in any of your conversations today, whether in passing or grueling debate?"

You can't seriously be trying to make absurd sweeping generalizations like these, unjustly apply it to a large and very diverse group of people, and attempt to pass it off as fact.

The thing a lot of Christians have difficulty understanding is that if you're going to engage an atheist in debate, both parties must maintain strictly philosophical in their arguments, leaving the Bible and religious doctrine completely out of the equation.

Why? For the same reason that no one who willingly accepted Christianity as truth did so with the belief that God doesn't exist.
